Food insecurity is a huge issue for the senior population. According to http://www.feedingamerica.org:

"Seven million seniors (age 60 and older) are served by Feeding America each year, as well as nearly 6 million older adults ages 50 and 59. Thirty-three percent of client households have at least one member who is age 60 or over, and 76 percent of these households are food

insecure - an estimated 3.9 million households."

One of the first missions of Agape Community Care is to partner with the Los Angeles Food Bank to help provide food to our participants who are food insecure.
